Inserts

Inserts

A heavy-duty connector consists of a connector insert and its protective housing. The insert is therefore the heart of the heavy-duty connector. It is responsible for electrical functioning. Connector inserts from Weidmüller are made from high-quality insulation materials, which allow secure transmission of high voltages in a tight space. Moreover, we use only a single type of plastic in our entire product line. This plastic is UL listed, and suitable for railway applications. This allows unlimited world-wide use of the RockStar® connector.

HA

The small and thin HA series can be used wherever space is limited.

Number of poles: 3 – 48
Rated current: 16 / 22 A
Rated voltage 250 V
Nominal voltage acc. to UL/CSA: 600 V AC/DC

HE

With the HE series, the user is free to choose the wire connection method. In addition to the proven tension-clamp connection, we can also deliver with a screw or crimp connection.
Weidmüller is also the first manufacturer to supply this series with the Quick Termination and PUSH IN wire connection.
You can choose the connection method that you need.
Pole count: 6–48
Rated current: 16 A
Rated voltage: 500 V
Rated voltage acc. to UL/CSA: 600 V AC/DC

HD

The HD range features a high density of contacts. It is thus optimally suited for signal processing.

The HD insert can be assembled with machined crimp contacts or fibre-optic contact. It is convincingly flexible.

Number of poles: 7 – 128
Rated current: 10 A
Rated voltage: 250 V
Nominal voltage acc. to UL/CSA: 600 V AC/DC
