Weidmüller has designed a unique line of Sensor-Actuator Interface (SAI) empty enclosures. They are easy to install and guarantee outstanding reliability. The components are matched up with each other so that the installed housing fulfils the protection class IP67 and no moulded encapsulation is required. Additionally, all I/O PCB connectors are 100% reflow-compatible (and compatible with all other soldering method). Because of their excellent variability, Weidmüller’s SAI empty enclosures are perfect for use with customised designs that customers can implement themselves.

Enclosures

There are three different enclosure sizes: 54mm width and 30mm width in both long and short versions. All the enclosures consist of the isolating plastic Pocan, which is very sturdy and resistant. The use of snap-in lugs allows easy disassembly so that quick troubleshooting is possible. Symbols, data, drawings or text can also be laser engraved on the enclosure surfaces as required.
